Huey Newton founded the Black Panther Party with Bobby Seale in 1966. The party is best known for its 10-Point Program, which many say is still relevant today: a platform and manifesto outlining issues such as wanting freedom, full employment, healthcare, education, housing, and an end to wars, among other things.
